La Quinta is a district just north of San Pedro de Alcantara, up in the hills. The area is home to three nine-hole golf courses and a five-star hotel called The Westin La Quinta.
There are numerous developments in the area, a combination of luxurious villas and townhouses, as well as beautiful apartment complexes. Property developer, Ricardo Arranz, is the genius behind the creation and development of La Quinta.
Today, La Quinta is popular for its picturesque natural surroundings and features some of the most exotic, stylish and unique contemporary-designed homes on the Costa del Sol.
The main access to La Quinta is on the right-hand side of the Ronda road, a few 100 metres up from San Pedro de Alcantara. Some of the more famous developments in the area are Urbanizacion Los Balcones, Urbanizacion El Mirador, Urbanizacion Los Arcos, Urbanizacion La Quinta Hills, Urbanizacion Buena Vista de la Quinta and Urbanizacion Alta de la Quinta.
