Marbella – Bahía de Marbella

Bahía de Marbella is the secret paradise hidden from view, along a spectacular stretch of sandy dunes where this housing complex described “the most prestigious urbanisation in Marbella” is to be discovered.

The beach at Bahía de Marbella is called Playa Alicate and is surprisingly popular in the summer. The outstanding feature is a 30 to 50m wide strip of sandy dunes about 2 to 4m high, stretching 1000m inland from the coastline. These spectacular dunes are located between the Realejo stream and the prestigious, Los Monteros residential development.

These are one of the first dunes to be declared a nature reserve and officially protected by the Ecological Reserve- Dunas de Marbella, a regional government environmental body. By 2015 a total of dunes along the Marbella coast had fallen under the protection act for nature reserves.

Bahía de Marbella is a residential community including a mix of a total of sixty-six residences – private, detached villas, townhouses, apartments and penthouses. This exquisite community was first established in 1995 with just a few properties and expanded during the early years of the new millennium from 2000 to 2006.

The community is also well surrounded by some famous golf courses – Rio Real Golf, Santa Clara Golf and Marbella Golf and Country Club. Plus it is near the Costa del Sol hospital, one of the best-equipped hospitals on the coast and some famous international schools – The English International College and the German International College are within a short drive.
