Nagüeles is a district found on the mountainside of Marbella. The area comprises of beautiful villas nestled in the green sloping hills of Marbella’s majestic mountain backdrop. There are also various developments of beautifully designed Andalucian style apartments.

The area which is one of the first districts to be developed in Marbella is home to some of the largest, private villas which sit on some of the largest, privately-owned plots, just west of the city centre.

Cortijo de Nagüeles is the zone next door which borders the Golden Mile. Playa de Nagüeles is south of the Golden Mile on Marbella’s Mediterranean coastline.

Nagüeles has a beautiful reserve of pine, carob and olive trees, spread over 10,000 hectares of land. This natural park has got some lovely picnic tables and benches with barbeque stations for locals to enjoy a family day out in beautiful natural surroundings. There is also a youth hostel nearby, a children’s playground and a small hermitage chapel in honour of St Barnabé, the patron saint of Marbella. It is also where the annual St Barnabé pilgrimage takes place every year.

At the top of Nagüeles, not far from the natural park, lies Nagüeles Quarry. The Quarry is the location that hosts the famous Starlite Festival every summer, where world-famous performers entertain guests.
